"Sharing Pigments" is a short film which documents the project to collect pigments from trees around Oxfordshire, representing the different groups engaged in efforts to plant trees that are part of the CAG Oxfordshire Network.
The different groups sent in plant material from trees with significance to their local communities, and artist Jules Bishop turned these into eco-friendly paints which themselves sequester carbon.
The paints were then used to create an abstract artwork for the exhibition "From The Ground Up: Stories of Climate Action" at Oxford Firestation and subsequent touring exhibition around the County.
The touring exhibition will be at Watlington Town Hall on Saturday 20th November 2-6pm, Sunday 11-6pm and Monday 11-2pm and the film will be shown alongside others and artwork from around the county.
